Our History
David Ohrvall, founder of MBACASE, began developing the core concepts presented in Crack the Case shortly after leaving Bain & Company in 2002. It took over a year to write and publish the first edition of Crack the Case, which was released in September 2003. Along with the book, we launched our original website, consultingcase.com, in the fall of 2003. Soon after publication, David received several invitations to speak at MBA consulting club “Boot Camp” events.
As the popularity of Crack the Case has grown, so has the popularity of David’s Crack the Case seminars and workshops. He now trains hundreds of MBAs at premier schools such as Wharton, Harvard, Kellogg, Michigan and University of Chicago. Through our new website, MBACASE, we look forward to bringing our customers more content and training opportunities, both in print and online.
