David’s expertise in case interview coaching comes from deep experience on the interviewer’s side of the desk. He worked in management and operational consulting for nine years, four of them with Bain & Company, where he was a consultant and manager. In addition to his client responsibilities, David was very involved in managing his office’s new consultant training program and instructing new hires at global training sessions. Since launching his private case interview coaching practice, David has coached more than 300 clients. He has helped candidates obtain positions with all of the major consulting firms, including McKinsey, BCG, and Bain. David’s insider knowledge and expert coaching gives candidates invaluable preparation in the areas of problem-solving skills, logical communication, and personal presentation.
Prior to Bain & Company, David spent five years at the Andersen Worldwide organization as a manager with the Business Consulting division. David has also worked in corporate consulting groups as the Vice President of Corporate Strategy for Equity Office Properties and as a Director of Corporate Strategy for Nalco. He graduated from the Wharton School as both an undergraduate and MBA, completing degrees in 1991 and 1998. His book, Crack the Case, was published in 2003. In addition to private case interview coaching, he conducts case interview workshops and seminars at top-tier universities around the world. He also serves as an advisor to several search firms that specialize in placing candidates in management consulting firms.

Shari Rogge-Fidler graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She worked for a boutique investment banking firm in London for two years before attending the Harvard Business School where she received her MBA in 1990. Shari’s interest in consulting started with her summer internship in London with the Boston Consulting Group, where she also became employed following her graduation from Harvard. She worked in London for the Boston Consulting Group on cases in Great Britain, Switzerland, Germany, Finland, Spain, France and Austria. She was most closely affiliated with BCG's financial services practice group, working on cases such as merger and acquisition strategies for American and European companies.
Following the birth of her first child, Shari returned to the US and pursued an entrepreneurial career in her family's natural food business (as Vice President of Marketing and Sales) before selling the company and joining the Kelley School of Business (KSB) in 2001. Shari became Co-Director of the Management Consulting Academy, a highly selective group of MBA students at the Kelley School of Business in 2003. Shari has taught MBA, undergraduate and Executive Educations courses in topics ranging from: Managing the Merger and Acquisition Process, Developing Strategic Capabilities, Crisis Management, International Business, Managing a Client Engagement and the Consulting Practicum.
Shari has been coaching students in structured problem solving for case interviews with the major consulting firms for seven years. She offers specialized coaching for first and second round interviews including oral presentation cases. She tailors her coaching to the specific needs of her clients, including providing targeted practice in key industries, for specific firms and to practice the main types of case related math problems. Shari began working with David Ohrvall and MBACASE in 2007.
